What is Teletherapy?
Teletherapy is the online delivery of speech, occupational, and physical therapy services through live video conferencing. Teletherapy occurs in real time and is ‘face to face’ with a clinician via online video conferencing. The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) has recognized teletherapy as an effective method of service delivery since 2005.
